Kogentix Enables Our
Customers To Unlock
The Value Of
Their Data

We founded Kogentix with one premise in mind. We knew that big data and machine learning would play a critical role in transforming enterprises. That’s when we sat down and looked at the gaps in the industry. We filtered them down to three main issues.

There is a lot of emphasis in the AI community on technologies such as neural networks and GPU acceleration, and not enough on ensuring that machine learning insights drive specific business results. The foundation of our technology and services is creating business outcomes.

Effective machine learning applications requires interdisciplinary skills including expertise in new languages like Java and Scala, data science and statistics acumen, and experience with data architecture. Any solution must make experts more efficient and enable a broader population to be productive.

The best predictive insights are useless unless they inform and initiate action. Kogentix AMP is built to serve insights into existing systems, automating and operationalizing machine learning to create results at scale.

We believe that dramatic cost, scalability, and versatility advantages of open source big data would only become real with a business solution focus.
Our founders have been leaders in Hadoop since 2009, building enterprise solutions since the very beginning of the big data era:

  • Our CEO led Intel Corporation’s big data efforts and created a leadership position in China by addressing the needs of some of the largest enterprises in the world. He oversaw the massive investment into Cloudera that represented a major milestone in the maturation of the platform.
  • The founders each have decades of experience in data management, and have built open-source big data solutions for large enterprises. The founders spun out MetaScale from Sears and worked for industry leading provider Knightsbridge.
  • The same team formed XtremeInsights in 2011, serving several more enterprise accounts. Xtremeinsights was acquired by Intel corporation in 2013
